I have been fortunate enough to attend various metal-leaf gilding workshops, including an intensive training course with the celebrated Jo Poulton (https://www.jopoultonstudio.co.uk/). Equipped with these skills, I am able to offer a truly bespoke hand-finished framing service. Whilst there is an abundance of pre-finished mouldings on the market, hand finished picture frames give you something that is truly unique and can be designed to your exact requirements. I use natural wood for my hand finished pieces and a number of different finishing techniques including wax, limed wax, wood stains, Little Green© paint, gesso and both imitation and real metal-leaf gilding.
